How do I know a mentor is any good?

Look at three things on their profile: the experience they describe, their reviews — which only people who completed a session with them can leave, so we never show ratings that were not earned — and whether they carry the Verified badge, which our team gives after checking a mentor’s background. Whoever you choose, your payment is held until the session actually happens.

What happens if the session does not go ahead?

Accepted Answer

Your payment is held in escrow and is never released to the mentor before the session. If it is cancelled, or the mentor does not appear, the refund is raised automatically.

Can I move a session?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free of charge up to 12 hours before it starts, and up to twice per session. Inside 12 hours the slot is usually no longer fillable, so cancelling is the only option left — and our cancellation window is 24 hours.

What does it cost?

Mentors set their own prices, so it varies by person and session length. You see the exact figure before you pay, and there is no subscription or booking fee on top for mentees.

How do mentors get paid?

After the session completes, their earnings move into their wallet and become withdrawable. We take a percentage, which is published openly rather than buried.

Are you a big platform?

Not yet, and we would rather say so. We are onboarding our founding mentors now and reviewing every application individually. That means fewer people to choose from than a marketplace with thousands of listings — and a much higher chance that the one you pick is worth the hour.
