Before you study abroad

Before studying abroad, the decisive questions are whether the real goal is the degree or staying on to work, how it is funded, and whether the post-study work rules have been checked for your intake year on an official government source rather than a forum. Living costs usually exceed tuition over the course and are missing from most brochure comparisons. An education loan is repaid against a starting salary, so the EMI should be worked out in both currencies — including the case where you return home, which is a normal outcome rather than a failure.
